Sustainability

Department of Transdisciplinary University Center for Sustainability (CENTRUS)

This program is part of a new generation of university pathways oriented toward responding critically, creatively, and committedly to the complex challenges of the climate crisis, ecological degradation, and social inequalities. With an interdisciplinary, humanistic, and technically rigorous approach, the LiS offers comprehensive training that articulates science, management, policy, and culture for the care of the common home.

The curriculum balances natural and social sciences with the analysis of political, economic, and territorial processes. Students develop technical and ethical competencies to influence from different sectors – business, government, civil society, and international organizations – through concrete projects, analytical tools, and situated experiences.
